Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance.
- Assess the patient's condition and administer appropriate medical interventions.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities, adhering to established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals and emergency services personnel.
- Maintain and replenish medical supplies and equipment in the ambulance.
- Document patient information, treatment provided, and incident details accurately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in emergency medical services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry patients when necessary.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
