Rite Foods, a leading player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities: Manage the production floor, ensuring smooth operations, and adherence to production schedules.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed company and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance productivity and teamwork.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the production department.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Reporting: Generate production reports, analyze key performance indicators, and communicate results to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools and familiarity with production management software.
