Famfa Oil Limited, a leading player in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing production, ensuring reservoir performance, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct reservoir engineering studies to optimize oil and gas recovery.
  • Design and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
  • Perform reservoir simulation studies to predict reservoir behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate well performance and recommend strategies for production enhancement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data for reservoir characterization.
  • Provide technical expertise in drilling, completions, and workovers.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement reservoir management plans to maximize asset value.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG).
  • Strong knowledge of reservoir management, production optimization, and EOR techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
