Communications Associate, Client & Marketing Presentations

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Communications Associate to support client and marketing communications, ensuring the production and delivery of high-quality presentations for institutional clients. This role is key to maintaining effective client relationships, managing investment information, and driving continuous improvement and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver client and marketing presentations to a high standard.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support training and mentoring of new and existing team members.
- Contribute to process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Authorise financial promotions as required.
- Assist with departmental projects and cross-team collaboration.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar production or communications role.
- Strong numerical, grammar, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Role Overview:
Baillie Gifford is seeking a DDQ Writer to join our Client & Marketing Services team. This role plays a vital part in supporting and retaining existing clients by coordinating and producing due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) that cover a range of business areas, including investment strategies, ESG, diversity and inclusion, trading, and compliance.
The DDQ Team collaborates closely with Client Contacts and Product Specialists to ensure responses meet client needs, reflecting Baillie Gifford’s commitment to exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality DDQs for new and existing clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and customised responses.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across different business areas.
- Maintain and update Qvidian, the firm’s content management system.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Assist with department-wide projects as needed.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in financial services or asset management is beneficial.
- Background in professional writing, editing, RFPs, or investment writing preferred.
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills; familiarity with Qvidian is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- IMC or IOC qualifications (preferred but not essential).
