Responsibilities
- Financial Record Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate reports to support business decision-making.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgetary goals.
- Audit Support:
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Address audit findings and implement recommendations.
- Taxation:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Provide support during tax audits.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
- Implement efficient and effective financial procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience.
