Description
Connect Point Technology is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in 2024. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure, providing technical assistance to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, updates, and system configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on technology best practices and ensure they are utilizing available tools effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations for future reference.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Incident Management: Manage and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Stay Current: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the organization's IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
