The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Flight Operations Officer. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of flight activities within our airports.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor flight schedules, ensuring adherence to regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with airlines, ground handling services, and other relevant stakeholders to optimize flight operations.
• Conduct pre-flight briefings for flight crews, providing necessary information on weather conditions, NOTAMs, and any operational considerations.
• Manage air traffic flow to avoid congestion and delays, ensuring efficient use of airspace and airport facilities.
• Collaborate with air traffic control and other relevant authorities to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and technology advancements to enhance flight operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in flight operations or a related aviation role.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to flight operations.
