As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our platform, contributing to the growth and success of GaijinPot Recruitment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Architect and implement scalable and efficient backend systems to support GaijinPot's growing user base.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the reliability and performance of the platform.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in backend development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization, with expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
