Responsibilities
- Network Design and Implementation:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to meet the organization's connectivity and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new network technologies and solutions.
- Network Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular network assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and security threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network security.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide regular reports on network performance and security metrics.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the integration of network services.
- Provide technical support and guidance to resolve network-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Cisco and other networking equipment.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
