Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial transactions to identify potential money laundering, terrorism financing, and other illicit activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to gather and share relevant intelligence.
  • Utilize advanced tools and technologies to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data for the purpose of identifying suspicious patterns or trends.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations for further action.
  • Stay abreast of current financial regulations, trends, and emerging threats in the financial sector.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in financial intelligence analysis.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in the areas of anti-money laundering (AML) or financial crimes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of financial intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
