Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and analysis of the protection needs of refugees and other persons of concern.
  • Develop and implement protection strategies to address identified needs and challenges.
  • Provide legal assistance and advice to refugees on their rights and entitlements.
  • Collaborate with government authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective response to the needs of persons of concern.
  • Monitor and report on the human rights situation of refugees and internally displaced persons.
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of refugees at the national and local levels.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community-based protection initiatives.
  • Assist in the drafting and review of legal documents, including asylum claims and appeals.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in law, human rights, international relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [X] years of relevant work experience in refugee protection, human rights, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international legal frameworks related to refugee protection.
